    Self-employed position for those looking for flexible working days!
  • We are now looking for dedicated and enthusiastic delivery drivers to work out of our Enfield & Harlow Depots.
  • Full-time opportunities are available for an immediate start. (Flexible 10 hour routes available 7 days a week)

  • No Sortation – all routes are pre sequenced and pre mapped. All you need to do is collect your parcels and you are ready to go!

What does a Delivery Associate do?

  • Drives a delivery van to drop off packages to customers within their community
  • Commonly works 4-5 days a week
  • Typical working days are 10-hour
  • Follows strict safety standards on and off the road
  • Interacts with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
  • Uses handheld technology to manage the delivery process

What are the basic requirements?

  • A minimum of 6 months commercial van driving experience for Multi-Drop Delivery is preferred (e.g. Amazon, Hermes, DPD, Royal Mail etc.)
  • No experience candidates, we would expect exceptional customer service, dedication and commitment
  • Must be holding a Full (Manual) UK or EU Driving license for at least 1 years with no points or endorsements
  • Attention to detail to ensure deliveries are completed as per the correct process
    Able to lift packages (up to 20kg)
  • Able to get in and out of van numerous times throughout the day
  • Flexible to service demands including weekend availability when required
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • Able to pass a drugs & alcohol test
  • Be able to commute to and from delivery station

    Competency-Based Questions


    Park illegally for a quick delivery.Continue to search for a legal parking spot.Double park and risk a ticketLeave the area and mark the delivery as undeliverable


    Proceed carefully under the restriction.Find an alternative route.Ignore the restriction and try to passDeflate the tires slightly to reduce height


    Speed to make up for lost time.Call or message the onsite manager with an updated ETA.Take a shortcut through less safe roads.Cancel the delivery.


    Argue back and explain why they are wrong about the timing.Apologize for any inconvenience, explain the situation calmly, and assure them you are on schedule.Ignore their complaints and leave the package at the door.Report the customer to your manager for their behaviour.


    Exchange contact information with the other driver and leave the scene.Take photos of both vehicles and the scene, exchange details with the other driver, and report the incident to your on-site manager as soon as possible.Shake hands with the other driver and leave without taking any further action.Wait for the police to arrive even though there is no damage or injury.


    Leave the package at the door.Return the package to the depot.Try to deliver the package to a neighbour.Follow the company’s protocol for undeliverable items.


    Try to distract the dog with food.Attempt to scare the dog away.Retreat slowly and avoid making eye contact.Continue to the delivery location despite the dog.


    Stop and ask for directions immediately.Use a map or a smartphone app as a backup.Guess your route based on memory.Return to the depot.



    Continue your route, planning to address both issues once all deliveries are completed.Attempt to fix the mirror at your next stop and ignore the engine noise for now.Stop at a safe location as soon as possible, secure the mirror temporarily, and check the engine to identify any obvious problems. If necessary, contact your manager for further instructions.Call your manager immediately and request guidance without checking the issues yourself.
